China's first offshore all-directional green design oilfield is put into operation

The Wushi 23-5 oilfield Group development project was put into operation on July 1. According to CNOOC, this is China's first offshore all-round green design oil field and the first offshore oil field shore power project in the Beibu Gulf.

The project is "six stations in one" for crude oil treatment station, liquefied natural gas station, liquefied petroleum gas station, production water station, substation, 5G base station, and zero discharge of the whole process of production water, which has become a new model for the green development of China's offshore oil field, and provides a demonstration for the transformation of China's energy industry to low-carbon and green.

The reporter learned that the Wushi 23-5 oilfield group development project is located in the Beibu Gulf sea area, with an average water depth of about 28 meters, and two new wellhead platforms are built to rebuild and expand the Wushi land terminal. It is planned to put into operation 43 development Wells, including 28 production Wells and 15 injection Wells, and the nature of oil is light crude oil.

Production water and associated natural gas are produced during oilfield production. Wushi 23-5 oilfield Group sets up a production water treatment station at Wushi terminal, and uses a continuous four-stage production water treatment process to treat oily wastewater produced from upstream platforms to meet the water injection standard and then transport it to the re-injection formation of offshore platforms to achieve zero discharge and zero pollution in the whole process.

The Wushe 23-5 oil field group is equipped with natural gas integrated processing equipment and storage tank, which can effectively convert associated natural gas into liquefied natural gas and liquefied petroleum gas, store and load the truck for export, and realize the deep and effective utilization of associated gas in the whole process.

Dai Yi, general manager of Wu Oil Field Operation Company of Zhanjiang Branch of CNOOC, said that the Wushi 23-5 oilfield group will be "green and low-carbon" throughout the design period, construction period and production period of the oilfield, opening a new model of efficient design and green construction of the oilfield, and promoting the low-carbon transformation of offshore oil exploration, development and production.
